Vietnamese Curry

Ingredients:
1 tb dried lemon grass
3 1@ ts Curry powder
Fresh ground black pepper
1 ts Sugar
4 ts Salt
3 lb Chicken, cut up in small pieces
3 tb Vegetable oil
Rice to cook
4 Cloves garlic, chopped
3 Bay leaves
1 large Onion, cut into wedges
2 cup Water
2 Carrots, 2-inch slices
3 cup Milk

Directions:

This is served with rice. Cook the rice. The best would be in a rice cooker (1 cup of rice, 1 cup of water).

Combine the curry powder, black pepper, sugar, add salt, garlic, bay leaves, the onion, water, carrots, the milk, and marinate the chicken in the mixture for at least 1 hour.

Heat the oil in a pan and cook the chicken.
