Tandoori Chicken

From the kitchen of Nita Khatter

Ingredients for the Marinade:

5 pieces of chicken (drumsticks or half breast, or thighs, etc…)

½ cup of plain yogurt

2 Tablespoons of “Rajah” Tandoori Masala (box of spices)

A little salt

Squeeze some lemon

Preparation:

Wash the chicken. Take out the skin. Marinade the chicken overnight.

Then the next day preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. and stick the chicken into the oven for 30 to 45 minutes.

Basmati Rice:

For every cup of rice, add 1 ½ cup of water.

Add salt and drops of oil.

When it boils, lower the temperature and continue cooking until done and all the water had evaporated.
