Sushi by Yoshiko and Yayoi

 

Ingredients:
3 cups Rice (Calrose preferred)
2 tablespoons Japanese Sake
3 cups Water (add sake to this measurement)

Directions:

Wash rice and drain in strainer
Put washed rice into rice cooker. Add water and sake mixture
Wait 15 minutes
Push button on rice cooker to turn on
When it’s cooked, wait 10 minutes before you take the cooked rice out to allow for steaming time.

Sushi Vinegar

Ingredients:
1/2 cup Rice Vinegar
2-2 1/2 tsp Salt
1-4 tbsp Sugar
Directions:
Mix all ingredients well!

When both rice and vinegar are ready, mix in container or bowl as soon as possible, use wooden container such as sushi oke.

Kaiware (radish sprout)
Nori (seaweed) (to wrap)
Avocado
Eggs
Imitation Crab
Cucumber
Shrimp
Squid
