Short Bread Biscuits

Children’s recipe


1 cup sugar

¾ cup melted butter

1 ½ cup flour (unbleached white wheat)

2 eggs

½ lemon juice


– Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until you get a ball. Add flour if it sticks.

– Open the dough, roll softly, and cut out pieces in shapes of rectangles, circles, squares, or triangles.

– Put the biscuits on a cookie sheet; draw a sign on your biscuits so you know that they belong to you.

– Cook in the oven at 375 degrees F for approx. 15 minutes.
