Sarah’s Vanilla Cake

2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 cup milk
3/4 cup vegetable oil
2 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat oven to 350 F. Butter a 9×13 baking pan.
In a large mixing bowl, beat sugar and eggs together.
Add flour, milk, oil, baking powder and vanilla. Beat for another minute.
Pour the batter into the baking dish.
Bake for 30-40 minutes or until top is golden and toothpick test comes out clean.
Let cool completely before covering in frosting and sprinkles. Vanilla recommended but you can be creative.
