Pumpkin Bread

3 cups white sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
3 eggs
2 cups plain canned pumpkin
3 cups plain flour
½ tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp nutmeg
1 cup chopped pecans

Bake in oiled loaf pans at 375 for 1 hour. Makes two regular loaves or 6 small loaves. This recipe is very easy to make and freezes well. Store in the refrigerator.
