1. Wash and clean the mussels. Make sure they are closed before cleaning. Discard any opened ones.
2. Put the cleaned mussels in a big pan and cook for five to ten minutes over strong heat.
3. Add shallots or onions into pan while mussels are cooking along with butter cut into small pieces.
4. Add your favorite dry white wine, stir constantly throughout the mix and cook process.
5. Finally, add parsley and the mussels are ready to serve.
