Makayla’s Cupcakes

 

Ingredients

Cupcakes:

1 cup softened butter
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
2 1/4 cup of flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt

Topping:

1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1/4 teaspoon of salt
Chocolate Chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3/4 cups walnuts or pecans (optional)

 

Preparation

1. Preheat the oven at 375 degrees F.

2. In a bowl pour butter, sugar, and brown sugar. Beat in vanilla extract and eggs.

3. Sift and stir in flour,baking soda and salt.

4. Bake in a cupcake pan at 375° F for 10 – 12 minutes.

5. For the topping, beat brown sugar, eggs and salt.

6. Stir in chocolate chips, vanilla extract and walnuts or pecans (optional).

7. Take the cupcakes out after 10 to 12 minutes, then pour in the middle the topping.

8. Bake again for 15 minutes or more until done.
