Crimini and Vegetable Pasta for 5 hungry people

1 pack of Crimini mushrooms washed and thinly sliced
1 stick butter, cut into small pieces
1 pack of broccoli rabe florets, cut into 1/4 inch pieces
2- cup Brussels sprouts, cleaned, halved and sliced 1/4-inch-thick
2 bags Tagliatelle or other kind of pasta you like
3 Tablespoons olive oil
1 shallot, minced
Finely chopped chives
3/4 cup grated Parmesan
Salt and pepper to taste

1. Boil a large pot of salted water
2. Blanch broccoli about 30 seconds
3. Remove and repeat with Brussels sprouts
4. Set a large sauté pan over medium heat. Add oil and shallot.
5. Add the mushrooms. Sauté and toss
6. Bring water back up to a boil and add pasta. Cook until al dente, then drain
7. Add the butter in the pan
8. Add cooked pasta and vegetable. Sauté and toss
9. Add chives and Parmesan and toss
10. Season with salt and pepper to taste
