Children’s Madeleines

Madeleines (recipe for children)

Ingredients for 24 madeleines:

§ ¾ cup of flour

§ ½ cup of butter (1 stick)

§ ¾ cup sugar

§ 2 large eggs

§ Drops of vanilla, lemon, or orange


Beat the eggs with the sugar.

Melt the butter in a bowl.

Gradually add the flour, the melted butter, and the vanilla or lemon or orange flavor.

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.

Grease each Madeleine mold with butter.

Fill the molds with the mixture.

Bake in the oven for 10 minutes.
