Boeuf Bourguignon

Ingredients:

3 lbs beef stew

1/2 lb bacon cut into small pieces

3 tablespoons olive oil

1/3 red wine bottle

3 onions chopped to small pieces

3 garlic cloves, chopped to small pieces

1 tbsp flour

salt

pepper

2 tbsp paprika

sour cream

1 pack sliced mushrooms

parsley

7 medium potatoes of choice

2 cups water

Directions

In your pressure cooker heat oil. If you don’t have a pressure cooker use a regular one, but cooking time will double.

Add onions and bacon pieces. Mix and let brown for a few minutes.

Add meat, sprinkle with flour and mix. Let brown for 3 minutes

Pour in wine and water.

Add garlic, salt, pepper and paprika. Close the cooker and let it cook slowly for 40 minutes.

Peel potatoes, cut each of them into 4 pieces. after 40 minutes, open cooker and add potatoes to the basket. Cook potatoes separately if you don’t possess a basket. 15-20 mins more.

Fry sliced mushrooms for 3 minutes with butter.

Chop parsley very finely.

Serve meat, potatoes, mushrooms and sour cream. Sprinkle with parsley for freshness.
