Banana Bread


1 ¾ cups sifted all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

¼ teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

2 eggs

2 to 3 ripe bananas cut up (2 cups)

1/3 cup softened butter

2/3 cup sugar

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt into medium-size bowl. Put eggs, bananas, butter, and sugar into blender container. Cover; blend at high speed until smooth. If necessary, stop blender during processing and push ingredients toward blades with rubber spatula. Pour over dry ingredient; stir just until moistened. Pour into prepared pan. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until done.
