Applesauce by Jenna


12 apples – peeled, cored and chopped. Recommend Granny Smith for optimal taste.

2 1/4 cups water

3/4 cup white sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

cinnamon to taste


In a saucepan, combine apples, sugars, water and cinammon.

Cover, and cook over medium heat for 15-20 minutes, or until apples are soft.

Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then mash with a fork for chunkier texture or blend with an electric hand mixer for smoother sauce.
