Almond, Honey and Orange Blossom Flower Water filled Cigars

• Sheets Fillo dough cut in squares (9″ x 9″)
• 2 cups almond powder
• 2/3 cup powdered sugar
• 1 pinch cinnamon
• 3 tablespoons melted butter
• 1 egg white
• 1 orange
• 1 cup sunflower oil

For honey syrup:
• 1 cup water
• 1/2 cup honey
• 1/4 cup orange water

1. In a medium bowl: mix the almond powder, powdered sugar, and melted butter
2. Add 2 tablespoons orange water to obtain the dough
3. Add some zest of the orange, and the cinnamon, and mix

4. Prepare the egg white in a small bowl
5. Prepare the syrup: In a saucepan pour the water, honey and orange water, then heat on low
6. Cut the squares of the Fillo sheets in 4

7. Roll your almond dough in a shape of a small cigar in your hand
8. Place your cigar dough on the top corner of your Fillo, than roll and wrap it like a little burrito to form a cigar, then glue the sides with the egg white

9. Heat on high/medium the sunflower oil in a deep pan
10. Dip the cigars for 2 – 3 minutes until golden

11. Take them out on to paper to absorb the oil for a few seconds, then dip them in the warm syrup for 5 seconds

12. Cool and serve not too cold
